Kam man ši naktis, kam man toks gyvenimas, jei sparnai, jei sparnai pakirpti.
THE STORM BEFORE THE CALM
Where hundreds have fallen and wept the voices of the innocent,
Arrogance possessed people.
I kept trying to look forward, but my eyes have gone blind way back
And my crushed heart was barely beating.
What for is this storm? What for is this mindless battle?
If hope dies with a tick of a clock.
My resistance was suppressed by traitors and slaves of fear,
Clanks of weapons have gone silent and lights of fires have gone dark.
All that's left is a question, silent like an ancestors call from afar,
Have we been battling the world or a blood-sucking being within?
Shoot me down, light me up in flames so that hope from my heart would cast itself away,
String me up, tear me to pieces and throw me to the wolves.
Why do I need this night? With my wings cut why do I need my life?..

GUARDIANS OF THE FOREST
So far far away beyond the oceans of time
Green the forests between barrows and hills.
Guardians of the forest, trees alive
With fire in their eyes and blood-boiling hearts.
If you come to them with anger and evil,
Moss covered ground shall serve as your grave.
Doomed to live in flesh of oaks,
Once called shepherds of the forest
Rising their branches to the light of the sun,
Gazing to the west ever with hope.
Once defied a dark horde
Devastated the green wood,
Flocks of ravens woke the guardians
And their bodies covered the green wood.

Ar girdi, ar matai, kai naktis nušvito baltai?
Degantys miškai! Ar girdi, ar matai?
Žadina mus vėl rago garsai, priešas jau netoli.
Neviltis ir nežinia aplink tave ir mane,
Bet imk kardą į ranką, broli, nes teks apgint save!
Žengia pulkai, žengia kariai,
Strėlių lietus, juodas dangus.
Eiklūs žirgai, aštrūs kardai.
Gūdūs miškai, skardūs riksmai.
Jau išaušo diena su raudona saule,
Lietus nuplovė kraują ir baimę.
Dar daug laiko praeis, kol pražys vėl čia gėlės.
Dar daug laiko praeis, kol geltonas taps smėlis.

Can you hear, can you see, as the night turns to white?
Burning forests! Can you hear, can you see?
The sound of the horn wakes us again, the enemy is near,
Despair and suspense surround me and you,
Grab your sword, my brother, because you'll have to defend yourself.
March the armies, march the warriors,
A shower of arrows darkens the sky.
Nimble horses, sharp swords,
Dreary forests and sonorous screams.
A new day has dawned with a red sun,
And rain has washed the blood and the fear.
Much time will pass until flowers bloom,
Much time will pass until sand becomes clear again.

BIRDS SHALL RISE
Black birds shall rise like angels of darkness
Tearing your soul out and carrying it to the skies,
Birds shall rise, prophets of death.
Drowned in a pool of blood and despair you cried for death
Cursing all who betrayed you in this hour.
With no desire neither to live nor to love or fight forevermore
You gave up and waited for the prophets of death.
Here you finally felt that the pain was gone, you flew like a bird,
And the world's misery was like a dream left somewhere below.
You saw the great halls of your forefathers in the distance
And you suddenly realised, a raven you had become.

CRIES FROM THE PAST
You travelled through grim moors and lands covered in frost
Wherever you would go it's the same, pain, fear and despair.
You lit up the altar and asked the gods if your heart would ever rest,
And the forests answered with rustle, and the skies filled up with stars.
With witch's spells and the strongest potions enslaving a human's soul
In the dark of the night like a wolf I howled, with a fire lit, I called you:
Rise from the flames!
When the darkest of mountains will crumble down and become vast lakes,
When the most viscous swamps will turn into the greenest forests,
When the clearest August sky hasn't a single star,
Only then will your anger slowly disappear.

UŽMIRŠTOJI GENTIS
Užmirštoji gentis, Sėlių žemės vaikai,
Dar akimirkai grįš, lyg pro miglą prabils.
Užmirštoji gentis jums sakmę paseks
Ir nuneš į legendų laikus,
Kur prakeiktas sūnus virto ežero toliais,
Ten kur prakeikta dukra amžinybę upe vis vingiuos.
Kruvinoji žara vėl primins apie didvyrių mūšius,
Primins apie sūnų dievų.
Tą, kuris kalaviją nuleidęs laikys tik atgulęs mirties patale.
Nusiplovęs rankas priešo krauju,
Įkvėpęs dangaus ir pievų gėlių,
Pakėlęs akis virš savojo krašto, genties pelenų,
Prabilai prakeiktus žodžius!
Sugrįžkit į Žemę, dievai senieji!
THE FORGOTTEN TRIBE
The forgotten tribe, children of the Selonian land,
For a moment will return, speaking as though through a mist.
The forgotten tribe will tell you a saga
And carry you to a time of legends
Where the cursed son became vast lakes,
Where the cursed daughter like a river will forever meander.
A bloody glow will again remind of battles of heroes,
Of the son of gods,
The one who yields only in death.
With your hands washed by the blood of the enemy,
With a breath of heavens and wild flowers,
With your eyes gazing upon the ashes of your land and tribe
You spoke the cursed words!
Gods of old, come back to the land!

PILKAPIŲ VARNAS
Suplėšysiu tavo pasaulį, nudirsiu odas tavo vaikam!
Aš varnas, pilkapių varnas, dievybė pasaulio pradžios.
Užduso pasaulis, sutryptas žmonių.
Jau greitai kils liepsnos aukštyn lyg dausų.
Sugrįžk, prakeiktas varne, paukšti sakmių, ugnies ir lietaus.
Pažadink gentis žmonių širdyse, įkvėpk jiems ugnies, lašelį šviesos.
Atnešk ant savo sparnų praeities šmėklų balsus.
Ir sugrius stabai tų dievų, mūsų priešų neštų.
Aš atėjau, argi negirdit?!
Jūs prašvinkę baisioj dabarty.
Tad nuprausk mane, lietau, ir mano perplėštą širdį,
Šimtus metų užspaustas ir užsmaugtas buvau.
Atėjo pabaiga dienoms, kai patys sau melavom.
Išdžiūvo upės, o miškai lapus numetę dega.
Jei nusisuks pasaulis, mano širdis neplyš.
Kruvinon ryto saulėn klykiantis varnas kils!
RAVEN OF THE BARROWS
I will tear your world, I will flay the skin off your children,
I am the Raven, the Barrow Raven, a deity from the beginning of times.
Trampled by people the world has suffocated
Flames will soon rise up to the skies.
Come back, cursed Raven, bird of tales,
Awaken the tribes in human hearts, grant them fire, a drop of light,
Bring on your wings the voices of spirits from the past
And the idols of our enemy gods will fall.
I have come, can't you hear?
You fester in the horrible present.
Rain, wash me and my torn heart down
For hundreds of years I've been strangled and suppressed.
The end of those days when we lied to ourselves has come –
Rivers have gone dry and forests are burning in flames.
If the world turns away, my heart will not tear –
Into the bloody morning sun a screaming raven will rise!
